Payment Policies

Paypal: I accept all forms of payment this way, either balance transfer, instant bank transfer, or credit cards. This is a safe and easy way for you to pay, and while expensive for me to accept it does provide you with a fair amount of buyer protection. Policies vary in different locations so please check the Paypal site to determine what the details are that apply to you!

Money Orders: I accept these happily, however, they are obviously a little more hassle for the buyer. I do mail packages out immediately upon reciept of the MO.
These can be made out to: Lindsay Colley Swan and sent to the address below. If you live in Canada  please remember to purchase the right kind of MO and remember I will have included the exchange rate into your total amount.

Personal Checks: For first time buyers packages will be held until the check clears the bank. If you have more than 100 positive ebay feedback then I will send your package as soon as I recieve the check. Any bank fees incurred because you forgot to balance your checkbook this month will be billed to you as I can't afford to pay for other folks addition mistakes. Canadians need to include an additional $2 if they wish to write a check for a purchase since that is what my bank charges to deposit these.

Cash: I take this reluctantly, and only with at least delivery confirmation on the envelope as I WILL NOT be held responsible for someone snatching it at the PO! Obviously for some of the tiny and low cost accessory items, this seems like the way to go, but a check would be preferable in that situation. Just contact me first if you think you want to send cash, ok?

All the MLP items are in played with condition so I do not accept returns unless I missed some huge flaw. I am only human and occasionally miss things, but as you can see from my feedback, I have never had an unhappy buyer. So, if you have a problem then please email me and we'll discuss it.

If the post office looses your package and you did not purchase insurance, you will be out of luck. I always get postal reciepts so I will happily send you a copy upon request.  Shipping insurance can be very expensive for overseas shipments but I haven't lost an Airmail package yet *touching wood right now!*

Mailed Payments should be sent to:

Things I do/don't do to the items for sale:
            1. Every pony and accessory is washed with anti-bacterial soap. I do not sell anything dirty. There may be stains, but nothing else!
            2. Every pony is groomed to their original look with the exception of a few that I have added curls to because I thought it suited them better!
            3. I NEVER use hair spray, gel, or any other chemical in styling pony hair. I use only HOT WATER! To learn more on how I do this, visit the Hair Help Page.
            4. I only do touch-ups now and then and I will ALWAYS state what has been done in the item description!
            5. I occasionally fix hems/elastic/straps on pony wear items, but I am very careful about it and if it bothers you, just ask and I will check to see if the item you want has been fixed.
            6. I nearly always scrub out any pony with internal gunk whose head is already loose, and replace the metal tail washer with a plastic zip-tie so you won't have to worry about rust anymore.
            7. I get ponies from all over the world, and some of them are so dirty they are un-recognisable. I use many methods to get them clean again, check the Grooming pages for good, safe ways to keep your herd clean.
            8. Any pony with pin-dot mold has been treated so that it will not spread to the rest of the herd, and I have removed as much of it as I have patience/time for.
            9. Any pony with age-spots or Pony Cancer has been treated so that it will *hopefully* not spread on them, but don't worry, it's not contageous to the rest of your herd. Combat Pony Cancer by NEVER storing your ponies in your attic or other hot place.

I offer rehairing on any pony, provided that I can find the hair.  Forelocks are $0.10 per plug and manes are $0.15 per plug and I provide the hair. You may email me if you wish to get a pony you already have rehaired. I can replace tails as well for $2-5 depending on the hair color.
