Year 1

This first year of My Little Pony gets us started with a single set of 6 ponies, known as Earth Ponies. They are simple ponies with one-color symbols and they all came with a comb and a hair ribbon. These six girls also had a slightly different mold than the ponies that followed and this gives them feet that are flat on the bottom, rather than the more life-like concave hooves that were made after this first year.
