Year 2

Earth Ponies 

These ponies are similar to Year 1 earth ponies, but they have escaped the "looking forward" pose and they come in much more varied colors. They came with a flower brush and a hair ribbon. As a new twist there are two with freckles, and two with blazes, and the re-release of two of last year's ponies! The re-releases of Cotton Candy and Blossom now have concave feet, like all of the later released ponies.

There are also several of these same ponies made for release in other countries than the US. There are Bowtie, Applejack, Bubbles, and Seashell all made in Italy, for pictures and information see Ponies from Across the Pond!

Applejack This sweet pony is often assumed to be a boy. Between the name and the freckles, it's no wonder, but Applejack is just a little misunderstood. She is in the sweet "shy pose" as collectors call it and in the UK she even became a "mummy" with the release of Baby Applejack! But anyway, she has lovely light red apples with green leaves as her symbol and she has freckles on her cheeks. She came with a blue hair ribbon and a blue flower brush. Bowtie Here is Applejack's close buddy with matching freckles! This pony is very sweet and somehow more girly (not just because of the pink hair) with lovely little pink bowties as her symbol. Also in the "shy pose" Bowtie seems to get age spots much more easily than her freckled friend, and her bows often fade to have a slightly greyish cast to them. Seashell One of the only two ponies ever made in the sitting pose, Seashell has lovely bold colors and a white blaze on her face! Although often found quite faded, Seashell came in a nice rich purple with the same kelly green mane and tail as Medley. Her symbol is green sea shells and her most collon flaw is a head that has faded more than her body. See this pony and her accessories HERE!
